The Annual Fund is our largest giving campaign of the year and has the biggest impact to FoWY's giving to the Whitney Young community. The Annual Fund supports:
Giving students a place to express themselves, take risks and be inventive through dance, music and art
Teaching responsibility, leadership and resilience through athletics
Finding a place to belong, making a difference, and learning social and collaborative skills through clubs
Challenging students’ minds with an excellent academic experience, including 35 AP classes, rigorous core classes, and opportunities to explore subjects like Engineering and Design, Ethnic Studies, Forensic Science, Economics and 21st Century Multi Media.
Opportunities to compete and be a part of a team, from our Girls Softball competing for the City Championship, Business Professionals of America competing in a national competition or the Aerospace Club competing in a worldwide event.
