Giving Tuesday is held annually the Tuesday after Thanksgiving—after Black Friday, and Cyber Monday, there is Giving Tuesday. This year Giving Tuesday takes place on December 1.
It was created in 2012 as a simple idea: a day that encourages people to do good. Over the past eight years, it has grown into a global movement that inspires hundreds of millions of people to give and celebrate generosity.
At Whitney Young, Giving Tuesday is an opportunity to be a part of this global movement and give back to the Whitney Young program of your choice.
