Answering the need of Whitney Young teachers, students and administration is what we are all about! This year we were able to answer the call to the tune of $325,000!!! Thanks to you we funded a Chess Master, a large scanner for the Art Department, lots of rocketry for the Aerospace Club, equipment for DUB TV, furniture for Diverse Learners, a saxophone for Band, rock slides for Science, high jump package for Track, and much more. You will find our biggest project under “School Improvements” made possible through the Campaign for Whitney Young. We funded two new huge cubicle department spaces--one for the English Department and the other for Social Studies. The teachers love it and it has made all the difference in their ability to do their work, collaborate and teach!
