Welcome to the Friends of Whitney Young (FoWY) community! We are a dedicated group of parents, students, alumni, faculty, and staff working for the betterment of Whitney Young High School.

Friends of Whitney Young invites you to our free annual Fall Gathering at Bunker in the West Loop, which is just minutes from the school. Enjoy some delicious light bites and a cocktail, beer, or wine from the cash bar. Bunker features a bar downstairs, as well a gorgeous cafe and outdoor bar at street level. It's the perfect spot to hang out and get to know other Dolphin parents, plus 10% of drink income will go back to Whitney Young!

Bring another Whitney Young parent with you, reconnect with friends, and make some new ones. Behind every amazing Whitney Young student you’ll find interesting and engaging parents and guardians who want to meet you! We look forward to seeing you at our Fall Gathering.

Adults-Only Event

Purchase your raffle tickets here for a chance to win $10,000 as the grand prize! Second place prize is $2,500. Third place is $1,000. Tickets are $15 each and all proceeds support Whitney Young student programming.

Drawing takes place at Spring Bash on April 13, 2024. Winner need not be present. Must be 18 or older to purchase a ticket.
